On August 27, 2025, the inauguration ceremony of the Zhuhai Airport Cargo Terminal and the first international cargo flight was held in Zhuhai. Representatives from government departments, airlines, and logistics industries from Hong Kong and Macao gathered to witness this milestone moment, marking Zhuhai Airport’s entry into a new era of international air cargo.
Metro Express (Guangzhou) Limited (MTE) was invited to attend the event and participated in the “Zhuhai Airport International Air Cargo Business Supply-Demand Matchmaking Conference”, where in-depth exchanges were held with airlines, cross-border e-commerce platforms, and logistics partners. Topics included international route capacity sharing, last-mile customs clearance and delivery cooperation, and innovative models for cross-border e-commerce, laying a solid foundation for future cooperation.
